This meeting was to discuss the proposed detention center that currently is not going to be put to a vote of the people. here is the link for part one.
We just got through watching the Lincoln county meeting in Kemmerer. You all did an outstanding job with your questions and comments. The commissioners tried to let the developers do the talking but several of you quickly put an end to that nonsense and made them stick to the facts. The only commissioner that is worth voting for is Tammie Archibald. I would have liked to hear more from her and I hope she will run for office again. This whole project is a scam. It's just another example of the "Good Old Boy Network". The developers from Utah have already drained the Utah taxpayers so they are now up here in an attempt to drain money from us. I don't know if you have emailed the you-tube link to the commissioners, but I think they should watch what fools they made of themselves in front of very knowledgeable and prepared taxpayers. It would also be nice to see a letter to the editor in the Star Valley Independent news paper with a short article about the meeting and a link to the you-tube video. That way the public can see what two of their county commissioners are trying to pull off with the help of some shady developers. I'm sure the citizens who watch the video will be as disgusted as we are that they tried to pull this off on us without a vote. There is no doubt that this project should be voted on and there is no doubt that if it is going to be voted on the Utah developers will spend thousands of dollars to spread their propaganda to support their project.
We appreciate all the efforts made to bring this valuable information to the public's eyes.
