Tea Party affiliation

I want to be clear about my political affiliations. I am not out to promote a particular political party. This would include the Tea Party. I have some reservations about the Tea Party. 1) Sarah Palin and a few of the other NEO-con republicans have hijacked the Tea Party. I think this has been done as a way of controlling the opposition to the 2 party system. I have heard Sarah Palin say that we are a 2 party system and that there is no need for a third party. 2) I am not convinced that most the people that attend these rallies for the Tea Party really know what a NEO-conservative is. I do however reserve the right to support any PERSON running for political office regardless of their party affiliation. I may in the future attend Tea Party rallies. I may attend fund raising events. I think that it is time that WE THE PEOPLE learn to place principle over politics. The left/right paradigm keeps us fighting with each other and keeps our attention away from our elected officials. I think that for the most part, we can all agree that the US constitution is the common thread that binds us all, and there is an immediate need to get back to the principles that are embedded in the US Constitution.
